Search Images

Search the image library by exact asset ID, URL substring, or alt text. HTTP and HTTPS queries search source URLs; other queries first try an exact asset ID, then fall back to alt-text search.

List Images

Retrieve a paginated list of images from your AltText.ai library. Each image includes its alt text, language, and metadata. Use this to browse or audit processed images.

Get Image

Retrieve a previously processed image and its generated alt text by asset ID. Returns the full image record including alt text, language, keywords, and processing status.

Bulk Generate Alt Text

Submit a CSV of image URLs for batch alt text generation. Returns upload acceptance, processed row count, and per-row errors; final alt text is generated separately.

Update Image

Edit stored alt text, rename an image asset ID, or replace its custom metadata. The source image URL cannot be changed.

Delete Image

Delete an image record and its stored alt text from the image library. Returns the deleted image record.

Generate Alt Text for a Page

Find image elements in a page URL or raw HTML and queue them for background alt text generation. Returns scrape and queue results, not the final alt text.
